Cool Calm & Cosy Bedroom

At Blaines Interiors, we believe a bedroom should be more than just a place to sleep — it should be a space that feels calm, organised, and tailored to the way you live. This recently completed project in Norfolk is a perfect example of how clever design, premium materials, and thoughtful planning can completely transform a room.

This installation features high-quality Häcker German furniture, finished in timeless Polar White — the perfect shade for keeping things feeling light, clean, and cool during the warmer summer months. Our client wanted a bedroom that felt fresh and uncluttered, with practical features built in to support everyday use.

Smart Storage with Style

At the heart of the design is a run of fully fitted wardrobes, offering a generous amount of storage space while maintaining a sleek and streamlined appearance. Inside, the wardrobes are thoughtfully laid out to include hanging space, shelving, and internal drawers, maximising usability without compromising on looks.

We also installed open corner shelving, ideal for displaying books, decorative items, or keeping essentials close to hand. This small but effective detail adds warmth and personality to the room, helping to soften the clean modern lines of the fitted furniture.

Thoughtful Design Touches

Each side of the bed features matching bedside drawer units, creating balance and a cohesive look while providing useful storage right where it’s needed. To further improve functionality, we repositioned the electrical sockets on either side of the bed, ensuring easy access for bedside lamps, phone chargers, and other plug-in items. No more stretching cords or reaching behind furniture!

A Seamless Finish

To complete the project, we added ceiling infills for a fully built-in feel and carried out a full redecoration, leaving the room with a polished, showroom-quality finish. The result is a bright, relaxing space that feels both luxurious and liveable — perfect for enjoying those long summer evenings.
