Contemporary Black & White Bathroom

This recently completed bathroom project showcases the power of simple, bold design done well. Designed and installed by the Blaines team, this space is a fantastic example of how monochrome styling can bring both elegance and functionality into even the most compact of bathrooms.

A Bold Look with Timeless Appeal

Our client wanted a bathroom that felt high-end and modern without being too clinical or over-designed, and we delivered just that. The design centres around a striking black fluted wall-hung vanity unit, paired with a matching matt black basin tap and accessories throughout. This strong, streamlined palette creates a sense of cohesion and sophistication while still remaining practical for everyday use.

Statement Lighting That Works

Above the basin sits a feature LED round mirror, which instantly adds character while providing brilliant illumination for day-to-day routines. It’s not just stylish — it’s functional too, offering excellent lighting for tasks like shaving or makeup application.

Stylish Surfaces & Seamless Finishes

The walls are beautifully finished with a contrast of large-format marble-effect tiles and deep grey stone-look tiles in the shower enclosure. This mix of textures adds depth and definition without overpowering the space, offering a refined look that will remain stylish for years to come.

The black-framed shower screen and matt black rainfall shower complete the look, continuing the monochrome theme right through the room. Everything is tied together by subtle but smart choices — from the flush plate on the toilet to the minimal handles on the vanity.

Wall-Hung Design for Space & Style

The wall-hung vanity and toilet don’t just look great — they also maximise floor space, making the room feel bigger and easier to clean. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can make a bathroom feel more open and luxurious, even in a smaller footprint.
